10 Must-Try Seasonal Coffee Drinks

It is no secret that a large majority of the world is filled with avid coffee drinkers. Well for you coffee addicts out there, it is time to venture out and give something new a try.

Here is a list of some of my favorite delicious coffee recipes that are perfect for a specific time of the year! I know it sounds too good to be true. Just be sure to not try all of them in one day.


Chocolate Caramel Delight

With Halloween just around the corner, what better way to prepare your sweet tooth than with the perfect serving of caramel and chocolate combined?

All you need is:

  • ½ ounce of Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Chocolate Sauce
  • ½ ounce of Ghirardelli Creamy Caramel Flavored Sauce
  • 2 ounces of brewed espresso coffee
  • 8 ounces of steamed milk, and toasted almonds

After your first sip, you’ll feel like you are at the amusement park chomping down on your favorite sweet treat.

Cinnamon Cappuccino Comfort

Everyone needs a little help waking up in the morning, especially during those autumn days when the temperature drops below sun bathing level.

All you need for this delicious pick-me-up is:

  • 2 shots of espresso gold
  • ½ ounce of Monin cinnamon syrup
  • 2 ounces of steamed milk
  • cinnamon powder to add that extra strong home-felt scent and taste

Pumpkin Cream Cocoa

Now that the temperature has dropped well out of beach range, it is time for your drinks to warm you up the way the sun used to.

Just mix Monin Pumpkin Spice Syrup, Ghirardelli White Chocolate Sauce, warm 2% milk, whipped cream, and a dash of nutmeg for a delicious hot chocolate that will get you ready for both Halloween and Thanksgiving.


Eggnog Coffee Creation

There is no other flavor that screams Holiday season like eggnog. Well now there is a recipe to incorporate eggnog with coffee! No, you are not dreaming.

Combine the following ingredients to make this drink:

  • ½ cup of freshly brewed Sumatra gourmet coffee
  • ½ cup of hot eggnog
  • Top with whipped cream and garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Feeling a little frisky? Pretty sure there is room for rum in there too.

Perky Peppermint Mocha

Wake up in the morning and drink a cup of coffee that leaves your breathe minty fresh! With this recipe, it is easier to make it in bulk so you have leftovers for later or can share with your friends.

Here’s what you need to do:

  • Brew 6 cups of Java Dutch gourmet coffee
  • Melt 4 squares of semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • When the semi-sweet chocolate is melted, add 1.5 cups of hot milk and 1 tablespoon of Monin peppermint syrup.
  • You can garnish this concoction with a candy cane if you are feeling extra festive.


Frozen Banana Caramel Latte

Picture this: you are sitting pool side early in the morning. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and to top it all off, a waiter brings you a Frozen Banana Caramel Latte.

But waiting for the service to bring you this refreshing drink every time you crave one may get a little daunting.

So for when you are ready to do it yourself, you will need:

  • 1 shot of espresso, 1 ounce of Monin Banana Syrup
  • 1 ounce of Ghirardelli Caramel Sauce
  • 2 ounces of Ghirardelli white Chocolate Frappe
  • 3 ounces of milk
  • 2 cups of ice.

Pour, blend, and enjoy!

Easy Flavored Frozen Mocha

Everyone needs their dosage of chocolate no matter what season it is.

For this blended treat, mix the following:

  • 1 shot of espresso
  • 3 ounces of milk
  • 6 pumps of Monin Syrup for Mochas
  • 1 ounce of Ghirardelli White Chocolate Sauce
  • 1.5 cups of ice

These summer drinks are too easy so quickly blend until smooth and then get your butt back outside.

Iced Chocolate Raspberry Cappucino

You must be salivating at the mouth from just reading the title of the drink so I won’t postpone this type of happiness any longer.

The only ingredients you need is:

  • ½ ounce of Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Chocolate
  • ½ ounce of cocoa flavored sauce
  • ½ ounce of the Ghirardelli Classic White Flavored Suace
  • ½ ounce of raspberry syrup
  • 2 ounces of brewed espresso coffee
  • 8 ounces of cold milk
  • 1 cup of ice

This is another one of those beautiful drinks that only requires pouring over ice!


Lucky 4-Leaf Clover

Well top of the morning to ya laddy! You need a hot, steamy cup of coffee? Not a problem!

All you need for this is:

  • .25 ounces of DaVince Gourmet Cookie Dough syrup
  • 1 ounce of the DaVinci Gourmet Chocolate sauce
  • .75 ounces of the DaVince Gourmet Peppermint syrup
  • 2 ounces of espresso
  • 12 ounces of steamed milk

You’ll be able to feel the Irish coursing through your veins once you’re finished. 

S’Mores Mocha

Let’s warm you up for the upcoming hot weather with a drink that will make you feel like you are beside the campfire.

Just combine the following ingredients:

  • ½ ounces of Monin Dark Chocolate sauce
  • ½ ounce of Monin Toasted Marshmellow Syrup
  • 1 ounce of espresso
  • Steamed milk. FYI: The amount of milk will change depending on the size of your mug.

There is no better feeling than being beside your closest friends in front of the warm campfire enjoying one of the best desserts known to man.

For those of you having a hard time choosing which one to try first, I suggest the Pumpkin Cream Cocoa because nothing better can replace that warm homey feeling that is felt around the time of the holidays.

So to you coffee addicts out there, I hope these beverages are at the top of your to-do list.
