The end of the summer is quickly approaching and while you’re sad to see your last summer as a student go, you’re looking forward to your senior year of college!
Senior year means one step closer to the real world, but instead of fretting over what you’re going to do after you graduate, take this time to figure out what you’re going to do before you graduate!
Check out our ultimate guide to help you create your senior year bucket list.
1. Spend time with friends.
Whether you like it or not, this is your last year in college. When you graduate, everyone you know will go their separate ways.
Your friends will never be as close to you as they are now, so enjoy every minute of it while you can. Reconnect with those people you lost contact with your first year and meet new people, as well!
2. Thank your professors.
During this school year, take some time to thank professors that really made an impact on you, whether it’s a quick email or stopping by their room during office hours.
Teachers’ work often goes unrecognized, so let them know their actions are appreciated.
3. Go to a place on campus you’ve never been to.
Every day for the past three years, you’ve been to the same places. So this year, try something new. Explore your campus and go somewhere you’ve never been before.
Take some time to appreciate the beauty of your school. You’ll be surprised by all the amazing spots around campus you never knew existed.
4. Attend a sporting event.
There is no better place to see school spirit come alive than at a college sporting event. Whether it’s football, soccer or anything in between, take pride in your school.
Wear your colors, go to a game and sing your alma mater with your classmates. These are the kind of moments you’ll cherish once you graduate.
5. Participate in senior festivities.
You can only participate in these festivities once, so take advantage of every opportunity you can. Of course, do all the traditional things like taking senior pictures, ordering announcements and getting a class ring, but do the fun stuff, too!
Attend senior day and go out for senior night with your friends. You’ve waited three years for these special occasions, so enjoy every minute of them!
Instead of worrying during this last year of college, take some time to have fun. You’ve earned it! Whether it’s following this simple guide or even creating your own, do the things you’ve always wanted to do.
Try to make this year the most memorable it can be!
