Recent Movie Releases

As school is winding down, new movies are being released for kids and adults to go out and see.  In the past two weeks, some very big-name movies have come out to theaters. If you want to go see a movie, but have no idea what is playing, this article will fill you in. Some of the more popular new movie releases are:

Men In Black 3 – released on May 25

Men In Black 3 is a PG-13 film by Columbia Pictures. There is some brief suggestive content and violence. The film runs approximately 105 minutes.

The film features Men In Black Agent J going back in time to save Agent K as well as the fate of the planet.

Men In Black 3 starts Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin.

Battlefield America – released on June 1

Battlefield America is a PG-13 film released by Cinedigm. The movie references some drug material and bad language. The film runs approximately 106 minutes.

This movie takes place in Long Beach, California and features a young businessman who decides he needs to bring a dance instructor to teach the young ‘Bad Boys’ who live in Long Beach how to dance.

The film stars Marques Houston.

Piranha 3DD – released on June 1

Piranha 3DD is an R-rated film by The Weinstein Company. The movie is very graphic and gory. The film runs approximately 82 minutes.

This film is a sequel of Piranha 3D and is only being released for a limited time. The film is about the deadly Piranha’s living in the water at The Big Wet Water Park, which is a summer attraction.

Piranha 3DD stars Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, Chris Zylka, David Koecher, and Meagan Tandy.

Snow White And The Huntsman – released on June 1

This is a PG-13 film by Universal. The film has intense violence and brief sensuality.

This movie is a twist on the classic Snow White film. Similarly, the evil queen wants to kill Snow White for being the fairest in the land, however, Snow White has been training to kill the queen as well.

Snow White And The Huntsman stars Kristin Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, and Ian McShane.
